Learn the basic techniques of knitting, purling, casting on and binding off with a simple sampler
scarf, before you begin your first sweater. Fee for this two week class includes; tuition, beginning
reference book, yarn, needles and a gauge ruler. No previous experience necessary.

Learn the fundamentals of crochet in this two part class. You will learn how to make a beginning
chain, slip stitch, single crochet and double crochet. These techniques will be put to use in making a

Two time, 1.5-hour class, supplies included, ages 9-15
The perfect opportunity for  your child to learn the basic skills of knitting and casting on in the
company of other kids.  If time and attention permit, purling and binding off may be included.  Fee
for this class covers: tuition, beginning reference book, yarn and needles. No previous experience
necessary.

Knitting 201- The Next Steps                               $45
Two time 2 hour class. Supplies not included. This class is for you if you are ready to add to your
skills after taking Beginning Knitting, to remind yourself of certain techniques, or just add new skills
to your repertoire. Pattern reading and how to read a yarn ball band will be covered. Increasing and
decreasing will be covered if time allows. Bring your questions! Prerequisites: cast on, knit and purl.

Finishing Class / Help Session                                      $35
Need to sew your sweater together, pick up some stitches or weave in ends? This is the 2 hour
session for you! This is also an appropriate class if you need some other help on your project.

Sweater Class                             $65
Increase your skills and knit your first sweater! You will learn how to: choose your pattern and yarn,
read and  follow your pattern and shape your knit piece to make a sweater that actually fits!
Additional skills: picking up stitches, assembling your sweater and correcting errors. This is a 6
session (2 hours each) class.
Prerequisites: You must be able to cast on, knit, purl, bind off and
recognize knit and purl stitches. Does
not include supplies.

First Socks Class                        $50
Unravel the mysteries of making socks! Cuff-down on double-pointed needles. Class will meet for
three, two hour sessions, so there is plenty of time to finish your homework! Skill level: confident
beginners and up; some experience with double pointed needles will help.
Prerequisites: You must
be able to cast on, knit and purl. Does
not include supplies.

Advanced Socks Class                 $50
Ready to go beyond plain vanilla, take your next socks to another level! In this class we will work a
more advanced sock pattern and learn how to modify patterns to better fit your own feet. Cuff-down
on double-pointed needles. Skill level: intermediate.
Prerequisites: You must be able to cast on, knit
and purl. Must have some experience knitting socks. Does
not include supplies.

A great introduction to knitting in the round and working with double-pointed needles... resulting in
an adorable hat to show for it. By the end of this class, you'll understand hat making from bottom to

Fair Isle Hat                                $50
Ready to unlock the secret to beautiful color-work while making a great hat? Choose from three hat
styles and an assortment of beautiful yarns to let your creativity flow. Class will cover knitting in the
round and carrying two yarns at the same time. Patterns and yarns will be available at Great Yarns
after Nov. 1st and must be purchased before the start of class
Prerequisites: You must be able to
cast on, knit, purl and decrease.

One, two hour class. Have fun and enhance your knitting skills by learning to knit lace! You will

Registration Policies
1) Class size is determined by teacher.
2) Classes fill quickly. Please sign up and pay in advance to ensure your enrollment.
3) Payment is due upon registration and is required to hold your place.
4) There will be no refunds given for missed classes.
5) If a class needs to be rescheduled due to weather or instructor’s illness every
effort will be made include everyone in the make-up class.
6) If you must cancel your registration no refund will be given unless there is
someone to take your place.  
7) No refunds after a class starts.
We may have to reschedule a class due to inclement weather or because of instructor illness. The instructor will make every attempt to
reschedule for a time that is convenient for everyone. Enrollment takes place with the full payment of the class fee. We cannot hold spaces
without payment. You may pay by credit card over the phone. Please know that even though there may be space in a class at one moment,
and hour later it may fill.
CHECK YOUR CALENDERS!! Refunds will not be given within two weeks of the beginning of class. Should a student be unable to attend a
class, and notifies us less than  two weeks before the class begins, a refund will be given only if the class is full AND their space in the class can
be filled by a new  student. (The more notice you give about cancelling, the better we may be able to sell the space. Calling  the day of the class
does not work.) Refunds will be given should a  class cancel due to lack of enrollment. YARN for classes MUST be purchased from yarns etc...
or  Great Yarns.
THERE ARE NOT ANY MAKEUP CLASSES. Teachers are paid with tuition monies whether or not students attend a class.
