A Riot of Color

by erin on March 4, 2016

The sun is coming back, and the temperatures are (mostly) climbing, and these fantastic craft bags just came in!  They are seriously cute!

They are so cute, maybe they shouldn’t just be for knitting!  I think they’d make a cute overnight bag or purse as well!

Meanwhile, I have trudged through a couple of tests and quizzes with school, and decided to break out some reward yarn I’ve been holding on to for a while:

This is Madeline Tosh light (of course) and the blue is Nebula and the green is Tannenbaum.  I’m setting out on an adventurous knit with these two gorgeous colors.  My pattern?  Stripes Gone Crazy by atelier alfa.  I’ve never knit a garment using fingering weight yarn before, even though I have lusted after plenty of them on Ravelry.  The stripes on this guarantee it will be a challenge, and the colors of the MadTosh are thrilling me so far!

But I must admit, that’s gonna add up to a lot of stitches to complete this cardigan–but I’m up for the challenge (knock on wood)!
